Little Vegan Monsters Cupcake Eating Contest

Little Vegan Monsters, aka Lourdes and Anthony, celebrated the release of their new cookbook, aptly titled "the little vegan monsters cookbook". It's awesome, buy one or five. Make stuff from it, especially if I'm coming over. And how did they celebrate? By making hundreds and hundreds of delicious vegan cupcakes and challenging the world to see who can eat the most in five minutes! The competition was fierce (and messy!) and probably the highest concentration of vegans per square foot that New Haven has ever seen. Props to the Fuel coffee shop for hosting it, and to all the contestants and spectators. I had a great time and I hope this spurs a flurry of vegan competitive eating in the state.

I got this book as part of my benefits for working at the best company evarr. We get to choose books each month to engage our minds and spirits. And as you can see we're not talking about tech books to make us do better work in the small view, but to make our works better in the world.
